How Size of the STP calculated?

In any project STP capacity is based on the number of users or residents. For example in any residential project, each individual is expected to generate 135 litres of sewage every day. One BHK house / flat is considered equivalent to 3 people, 2 BHK 4 people, 3 BHK 5 people and 4 BHK 6 people. Based on the number of 1 BHK, 2 BHK and 3 BHK flats in a project, the total number of people is arrived at. This number is multiplied with 135 to get the required STP capacity. For a clubhouse an additional 5000 litres of sewage is added for arriving at STP capacity.

How Much Does It Cost to Set Up and Maintain an STP?
