As a seasoned professional with over 24 years in the water treatment industry, I’ve helped over 1,000 clients design and implement sewage treatment plants (STPs) using all major technologies. My experience spans a wide range of projects—from 2 KLD systems for residential buildings to 4.6 MLD setups for municipal, industrial and commercial segments. This hands-on expertise ensures that I can guide you through the complexities of choosing the right STP for your needs.
In 2000, I revolutionized water treatment in India by introducing bulk pure water selling in 20-liter cans in fluoride-affected areas. Within five years, this concept had spread across villages, where households shifted to using RO pure water, vastly improving public health. Today, I’m applying the same vision to sewage treatment, where the lack of infrastructure is a major health risk.
Recognizing that 70% of human diseases are waterborne and more 70% of existing STP are non-operational, I searched for a sustainable solution. After extensive research, I found Johkasou, a proven Japanese technology that treats sewage at the source, shifting from centralized to point-of-generation treatment. The major benefit of Johkasou is Maintenance. It doesn’t need a dedicated operator- solving the major problem why 70% STPs are not working.
I introducted the simple yet powerful technology into India as ‘easySTP‘ just as I did with clean drinking water and make sustainable sewage treatment a reality.
